When seen up close, many things in nature look amazing, almost alien. Fruits and vegetables are no exception.

the cat’s meow

the cat meows because he misses home

but who doesn’t?

whatever keeps you sane

for me, I listen

the cat, he speaks to me

this is not his home

this is not my home

what makes a place a home?

is it comfort? is it love? is it family?

the cat longs to go outside

to the other side of that door

I understand because we both feel more at home there

the other side of that door

there I look up and see stars instead of

plaster

there I feel cold air instead of

nothing

there I listen to the rustling of leaves instead of

the cat’s meow.

From quadruple-star systems to planets that could host life, 2012 has been an amazing year for exoplanet finds.

How do you let go of attachments to things? Don’t even try. It’s impossible. Attachment to things drops away by itself when you no longer seek to find yourself in them.
